Creating and Placing Temp Crowns

6 hours training, combination off didactic and clinical

Course Description

This one-day CE course is designed for dental assistants who would like training on fabricating a temporary crown or bride.  The focus for this course includes: Alginate/VPS Impressions, Fabricating an Anterior Temporary Crown, Fabricating a Posterior Temporary Crown, Fabricating a 3-Unit Temporary Bridge, Discussion on Anatomy, Contacts and Margins.

CREATING AND PLACING TEMP CROWNS COURSE

COURSE PREREQUISITES & REQUIREMENTS

Be at least 18 years of age, hold current CPR card
AND
(2a) Complete 2,000 hours of clinical dental assisting experience
OR
(2b) Complete a Illinois Board approved dental assisting program
OR
(2c) Hold a current national DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certification
