Taking Impressions Course
6 hours training, combination of didactic and clinical
Course Description
The dental impressions course at DAOC gives students theoretical knowledge as well as hands on training on how to take dental impressions with alginate and other impression materials.
During the training, students will experience a stone model pour with the option for the student to make a bleach tray or a bite guard.
TAKING DENTAL IMPRESSIONS
COURSE PREREQUISITES & REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 18 years of age , hold current CPR card
AND
(2a) Complete 2,000 hours of clinical dental assisting experience
OR
(2b) Complete a Illinois Board approved dental assisting program
OR
(2c) Hold a current national DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certification
